Are you guys serious? It's a big burger, and you're worried that someone's going to incorporate it into their menu?

There are thousands of places all over the US that serve gargantuan hamburgers, and a lot of them dwarf that one.

Not to belittle (if possible) the consequences of eating something like this even once, let alone regularly, but things like this are hardly new. It is most assuredly NOT the most extreme case of it.

And besides, even if they weren't doing the promotion, there'd still be some guy with an insatiable appetite scarfing down seven individual whoppers.

For your consideration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KFSi27IOsQ&feature=related

I don't think this would cause much of a problem in our society if it was placed on the menu, either. A lot of people would regard it as a waste of money, too much for them to eat, etc. A lot of young people would try it and some might decide to eat it more than once, but most people know exactly how terrible it is for them and he people who really don't care will be the ones who would continue to buy it. Most of those people are probably already obese or working their way there, so if they decide they want to live their life in that manner, they should be able to eat seven patty whoppers all day.

haha no, I don't plan on eating many of these in the future, I just decided to try it that once and I'm glad I did because one giant burger isn't going to kill me, I'm a healthy 20 year old guy.
Further, the burger is not on the menu, it seems we have a little bit of a miscommunication here. I was charged for a whopper, and then the extra patties and they told the burger dudes what to do, it was a special order and once again, most any BK, McDonald's, or any other fast food joint will make special orders for you, so if you decide you want 6 or even 10 extra patties in your big mac or whopper, the 17 year old guys working the grill will usually be more than happy to make it and will probably make it damn good because they like the idea of it, provided you don't get too particular with your order and you come during a slow hour. I know a couple people that work at the Burger King that I got my seven patty whopper from and I later heard that they were happy as hell to get an order like mine, I knew damn well to come there while business was slow because it would have been the exact opposite if I decided to order my burger during a rush.

LOL! To each his own! This is like a pie eating contest or seeing how many hot dogs you can eat in one minute. Amusing to watch, sort of. Nothing I would ever do. People enjoy different things. One man's meat is another man's poison. People are free to support or sabotage their health. I've eaten too much, drunk too much, and lived to regret it. That's how I learn. One slice of beef will do me just fine, thank you very much. I hope there's no correlation between bad food and bad operating systems...in computers, I mean. Thanks for bringing this story to so many people's attention!

Jordan,

Your point about McDonalds perhaps launching their own 7-patty Big Mac burger is interesting and I look forward to seeing which other companies or fast food chains huge these types of huge size meals to get tones of publicity.

I will surely be reporting and highlighting these types of massive meals.
