My, I really like it when experts break through all the crap (oops, I meant noise) the media is feeding us and is actually telling it like it is. Too many women are willing to put their long term health at risk for short term weight loss, and Ray is giving some valuable information that I hope will help my readers!

Here’s Ray Salomone’s take on losing 10 lbs in 30 days!

Yes, you can lose 10 pounds in a month, but chances are you’ll gain it all back and more.

Often when a potential new client calls they ask me this question. I tell them,

“Yes you can, but not with me.”

Losing ten pounds in one month is unhealthy and unsustainable. Losing weight that quickly sends shockwaves through the body forcing your organs and systems to work in a mode for which they are unaccustomed. Soon, when the inevitable psychological burn out sets in, bad habits will return and so will the weight. Chances are you’ll gain back more than you lost.

Since over 100,000 people will read this today, I am sure to get many emails from people saying that they lost weight quickly and kept it off. Great! But you are in a small minority.

Losing weight too quickly, as perverse as this sounds, sets you up to fail.

Notice that very few past contestants return to appear on the BIGGEST LOSER. It’s because they’ve gained all their weight back.

Want to lose 10 pounds? Do it over 3-4 months. You will instill proper lifestyle habits and you will keep the weight off.
