Best diet: 5 Bite Diet?

5 Bite Diet the best diet? If you believe that I have property in Spain and one in Miami to sell you at 2007 prices!
The 5 Bite Diet is causing a stir because it’s all about eating only 5 bites of food to keep the weight off.
Well, it’s obvious that 5 bites of food will allow an elephant to look like a zebra in no time.
>>> Here’s the premise of the 5 Bite Diet if you’ve not yet heard of the latest fast weight loss diet:
* The 5 Bite Diet is the brainchild of Dr. Alwin Lewis. In his book “Why Weight Around? Changing The Weight Loss Strategy”, he says that the obesity crisis affecting America can be solved if people only kept their meals to no more than 5 bites – hence the 5 Bite Diet.

Foods to reduce stress

Oh my, the stock markets are acting up again and it’s almost a flashback to October 2008.
There are so many people who are still looking for work and they are trying to juggle a lot of things with limited means. Not having a job, seeing the value of your home decline, becoming a one-salary household and having to watch your retirement fund melt away is quite taxing (pun intended) on the body.
Stress is one sure way to put on weight because food is an emotional outlet for so many people.
That said, if you chose different types of foods (instead of the fatty-greasy foods), you’ll quickly find out that there are actually a handful of foods that can help reduce stress (and help you stay trim, too).
I don’t think that these foods will turn your current financial situation around, but they will help support your health as you are trying to cope with life’s reality.

A healthy breakfast has been proven to reduce rates of obesity by up to 30% (which is huge!).
The reason why it’s so hard for so many people to actually make having a healthy breakfast in the morning a priority is because modern life can get in the way and morning can be so hectic that the thought of having to figure out healthy breakfast recipes for the family is overwhelming.
Grabbing breakfast on the go at fast food joints has a devastating effect on your weight and on your health.
Unhealthy eating habits have become so prevalent that a lot of people are clueless when it comes to eating healthy foods that will properly nourish their body.

Protein diet: Protein DOES help with your weight!

All the foods that you eat greatly impact your ability to lose weight. Protein, carbohydrates, and fats each have important roles and specific qualities that make them essential to a fat loss diet. What is interesting is that the USDA, National Cholesterol Education Program, American Heart Association, and many scientists have previously essentially written off the benefit of protein above the body’s minimal requirement.
“15% of calories or 0.8g/kg is all you need” We’ve heard that before.
However, there has been a surge of research and buzz around the importance of increased protein intake for not just weight loss but cardiovascular disease reduction, blood sugar control, and lowering blood pressure.
If you are looking to maximize fat loss then you are going to need to make sure that you get more than adequate protein levels. When you increase your protein intake and decrease your carbohydrate intake, from a biochemical perspective you are removing an insulin-stimulating nutrient (carbohydrates) and replacing it with a nutrient that has a much lesser effect on insulin (protein). Protein also causes your body to release another hormone called glucagon which counteracts insulin. Control insulin and you control the rate in which you burn fat.
Here are some great tips for choosing and maximizing lean protein consumption for fat loss (surprisingly from the U.S. Government).

Dr. Oz healthy eating tips!

Have you noticed how women seem to just lose it when Dr. Oz calls their number to become the assistant of the day on his new hit show?
I mean some of these women are purring and goo-goo-eyeing the doctor like teenage girls. It’s like they are treating Mehmet Oz like a rock star instead of a doctor who has a gift to present really complicated medical information in a really easy to digest way!
I’ve been watching all of Dr. Oz’s shows since he first premiered in September 2009 and I’ve learned so much about my body.
Although I make it a point to know as much as I can about healthy foods, I’ve learned many things from watching Dr. Oz.
