I spent a lot of time researching food processors before I bought this one (due to the price…ouch). I definitely made the correct decision. I’m a vegetarian, so I chop a lot of fruits and veggies every day. This machine is very powerful and never has a problem cutting through anything I put in it. It is also very very quiet. My son and his fiance came over the other day to make relish. They are in love with it too and plan to “steal” it when my back is turned. Another benefit is that the old 7cup food processor blades (that you can get on ebay) fit perfectly. I got the full set and can now cut things as thin as tissue paper, into thick slices, or french fries. Lastly, it handles bread dough very well (although I prefer doing bread dough by hand or by bread machine.)

I bought this food processor for my son and his wife’s anniversary. He is still excited about it. He made homemade peanut butter. He said it is so cool and it takes longer to clean the appliance than it does to chop, grate, slice or anything.
