Exercise equipment I cannot live without!

Went it comes to my fitness, I spend most of my time at the gym, boxing club or outside (in the summer).
I’m big on using free weights for weight training and I also quite enjoy the cable machine at the gyms because I really like the definition I get from using them.
I’ve never really been big on exercise equipments until recently. But now I’d have to say that I cannot live with my skipping rope, my TRX suspension and my Smart Gym.
1) I love skipping rope because it’s an incredible challenge and gives me great legs as I age!

Sexiest female Hollywood celeb over 40 Survey

It’s true that most Hollywood celebrities have access to a personal chefs, personal trainers, nutritionists, a team of nanny, a personal assistant and a home manager (think butler) to manage a full staff of people who’s job it is to make the celebs life as smooth and as easy as possible, but the reality is that NOT all female Hollywood celebs are again the same way.
If you take for instance two women in their 50s who are the polar opposite of the scale when it comes to aging well: Michelle Pfeiffer versus Kirstie Alley! I think this example illustrates my point very well.
I’m so grateful to all these amazing women over 40 who are changing the way we view a women who is aging and who are showing the world that 40 does NOT mean old!

Nespresso Aeroccino Milk Froth is a winner!

Nespresso Aeroccino Milk Froth is truly exceptional!
Are you looking for a way to cut back on your gourmet coffee costs? Well, I’ve found the perfect way to prepare inexpensive lattes (with fancy milk froth) at home!
I don’t have much counter space in my kitchen, so I don’t own a fancy-high-end-cappuccino machine. I was willing to put one on my kitchen table until my Italian girlfriend Debi told me to skip the expensive and hard-to-clean cappuccino machine and do what the Italians do and buy a stove top espresso maker instead.
I bought my stove top espresso maker at Ikea (of all places) because I was determined to find one that was stainless steel instead of the traditional aluminum ones. Most stores sell the stainless steel version at a high premium and Ikea had an incredible price and since I wasn’t sure I’d like the process of using a stove top espresso maker, I decide to invest as little as possible.

I also think that Dr. Berardi has a really incredible approach to nutrition and physical health.
Bryan Walsh is part of his team of advisers and when I read this article, I know I had to share it with my readers because it’s quite the eye opener.

101 Things To Do Before You Diet?

Did you know that visible panty lines add pounds to the way you feel? So how does your panty line affect your diet and weight loss?
Well that’s exactly what 40-something British fashion and beauty journalist Mimi Spencer will attempt to answer in her book 101 Things To Do Before You Diet!
Mimi Spencer wrote this book as an antidote to a professional downside: Mimi Spencer has spent most of her life surrounded by catwalks and ultrathin celebrities-and she’s sick and tired of dieting (Amen to that). So she created the anti-diet book! In 101 Things to do Before You Diet, Spencer shares the tips, tricks, and solutions that finally helped her lose those last few pounds and shows women how to trim, flatter, and accept every inch of their bodies.
With 101 Things to Do Before You Diet: Because Looking Great Isn’t Just about Losing Weight this mother of two declares that she’s had enough of the countless fad diets and she’s ready to enjoy her body as it is (this should resonate with loads of women out there).
