New French Diet: Air Diet

The French Diet stormed into North America a few years ago when Mireille Guiliano made an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show to present her theory on why “French Women Don’t Get Fat” (which is still a top seller on Amazon)!
Since then North American women have been looking at French women with a jealous eye because the French dare to eat dessert, pastries, fatty cheese, cream, full fat yogurt, white bread (aka baguette), drink wine every day, drink Champagne on weekends and not bother with exercising. With all these combined sins, French women are slender and seem to age without putting on any extra weight.
Of course, when you dig deeper, you quickly understand that the reason why French women remain thin is because they eat better quality foods (because they eat real food and avoid a lot of the manufactured foods that fill up North American grocery supermarkets) and they eat MUCH smaller portions than most Americans.
