When in any doubt about what will harm our heath it is best to stop using that item. I have looked for a long time for pans that would be absolutely safe and yet easy to cook with. I do a great deal of cooking and what I use is extremely important. When in Italy last year I came upon a company called Moneta that makes a line of Ceramica pans. Brought a few back home and have thrown out everything else. I found that there is now a company here in the US that sells this product. It is www.gocookware.com.
