How to stay healthy while sneezing…
It’s probably inevitable that you will get the flu or at least something close to it. One of the biggest mistakes people make when they’re sick is plugging their noses when they are about to sneeze. The thinking behind this is to contain the sneeze and hence the germs spreading but this can cause larynx fractures, ruptured eardrums, damage to soft tissue and even changes in voice quality. It also causes uncomfortable internal airway pressure. Eat Smart Age Smart in-house health expert suggests carrying a handkerchief to sneeze into. Just make sure to wash it at night. And the most important tip: Always remember to wash your hands!! Stay healthy friends!
