Jada Pinkett Smith is looking fine at 37!

I think it’s always a thrill for me to see magazines put sexy leading ladies who aren’t in their twenties on the cover of their magazines.
In my view, it says that they are aware of the fact that women over a certain age can still look incredible and have fit and firm bodies if they take good care of themselves.
It’s true that someone like Jada Pinkett Smith (born September 18, 1971) has access to personal chefs, personal trainers and personal shoppers, but I still believe that this photo on the cover of Shape magazine of her wearing a yellow two piece bikini is really inspiring (and incredibly sexy)!
I’m so happy that Jada is willing to admit that she’s able to juggle all the different aspects of her life (wife, career woman and mother) because she has a lot of help! Most every day women aren’t able to afford all this hired help, but women with kids are still putting fitness and healthy eating at the top of their list.
There’s one thing I think a lot of people could learn about from Jada’s interview with Shape magazine.
It’s true that both Jada and Will Smith are quite fit and active. I’ve said this many times before, but I strongly believe that if more people were willing to give up a few hours of television each night (or over the weekend) and be a little more active, they could make fitness an integral part of their lives.
Here’s what Jada Pinkett Smith had to say about “a family that plays together stays fit together”:
“Sitting at home on a Saturday or Sunday was never an option. Our kids, Jaden and Willow, love to go to the gym with Will and me, but surfing and snowboarding is what we do together as a family for fun.”
I really love to cook and I cannot see my life without being able to cook on a regular base. I find the whole idea of being in my kitchen and creating a new recipe of simply working an old recipe favourite is so thrilling to me, but I recognize that many people hate cooking with a passion or simply just don’t enjoy the whole concept. Here’s how Jada approaches cooking in her life:
“I can’t cook! It’s genetic. My grandmother can’t cook, my mother can’t cook. I was raised to believe you eat because your body needs fuel for energy, so I eat superfoods.”
Remember: it’s not because you don’t cook or don’t enjoy cooking that you cannot make better food choices for yourself … where there is will … there is a way!
