I cannot say no to trying out new kitchen gadgets. I mean I live for this stuff and it shows because my small kitchen is packed with stuff.

The latest discoveries came at a perfect time because I was able to get rid of a number of kitchen gadgets that were just old and useless.

If you have the right equipment to prepare your meals, you’ll be more inclined to cook at home!

If you’ve not yet discovered Chef’n kitchen gadgets, you really should! These super handy kitchen gadgets created by David Holcomb are honestly too brilliant for words and they REALLY cut your time in the kitchen.

I’ve been playing around with four Chef’ns kitchen gadgets and I wanted to share with you my thoughts on how well they worked and how much I enjoyed working with them!

1) Chef’n Large Salad Spinner:

I quite like their catchy sequence to the perfect salad: “Fill, release, spin, stop, remove, lock, serve!

This is a very sturdy salad spinner that is so easy to use. You won’t feel the strain on your wrist like you would from cheaper models. Mine had a mesh basket in green (they call it meringue) and I think it’s an essential kitchen gadget to dry out your leafy greens.

2) GarlicZoom – Compact Garlic Chopper by Chef’n:

I eat sooooooooooo much garlic because I love how it enhances the taste of food. Cutting or chopping garlic is not so fun because it leaves such a strong smell on your hands. The Chef’n Garlic Zoom is quick and easy. You just need to drop your cloves of garlic inside the Chef’n Garlic Zoom, roll the little gadget back and forth and you’re done. You’ve got chopped garlic in no time and your hands won’t smell garlicky for days to come.

3) Chef’n VeggiChop Vegetable Chopper:

I think I will call this a “green” vegetable chopper because you don’t have to plug it in to chop your veggies. You just have to pull on the stringed handle a few times and you’re vegetables will be chopped in no time. You can use the Chef’n Veggi Chop for vegetables, nuts and herbs. The design is quite brilliant because you have a non-slip base and the handle folds neatly on top of your Chef’n Veggi Chop when you are done.

4) Chef’n Juicester Citrus:

Seriously, everyone should have a citrus juicer in their kitchen. I don’t know if you remember that I was looking at a few options not long ago: I need a citrus juicer for fresh juice!

The Chef’n JuiceSter is easy to use and you can use it for both smaller citrus fruits such as limes and larger citrus fruits like oranges. Nothing beats a glass of fresh orange juice and since fresh store-bought O.J. at stores such as Whole Foods is so expensive, you can save a bundle by making your own juice in the morning. I used about four oranges to make my juice and after drinking a bit of juice I stored the rest in my fridge in a bottle and I was able to enjoy fresh juice over two extra days. The Chef’n JuiceSter is ideal if you are preparing fresh juice for a few people. If you have a big family, then you’ll need to get a citrus juicer that makes larger quantities of fresh juice.

5) Chef’n Nesting Bowls 3-Piece Mixing Bowl Set:

These aren’t just ordinary bowls! They have been designed with a handy sprout that allows you to pour your mixture without making a royal mess in your kitchen. Actually, these Chef’n Nesting Mixing Bowls are so colourful, you can fill them with chips and other snacks if you are having a party and display them on your serving table.

All of the Chef’n kitchen gadgets are quite easy to wash. I think it was important to mention because sometimes you buy certain kitchen gadgets and it honestly takes an engineering degree to figure out how to dismantle them in order to wash them … that’s not the case with Chef’n products.
